Canadian crooner Paul Anka books Caesarea for July 18 concert
The 80-year-old singer who collaborated with everyone from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson returns to Israel

Canadian crooner Paul Anka is coming to Israel to perform July 18 at the Caesarea ampitheater.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., starting at NIS 250 apiece.
The concert, billed as “His Way Greatest Hits,” is Anka’s musical review of seven decades singing his emotional, romantic ballads, such as “My Way,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” and “Diana,” written when he was just 15 years old.
The 80-year-old singer has written more than 900 songs, and is rated by Billboard as one of its most successful artists, selling more than 10 million albums worldwide, with more than 150 million air plays.
His latest album, “Making Memories,” includes a remake of “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” with Olivia Newton-John and a cover of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” alongside Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli.
Anka is known for his versatility and longevity as a singer, from his early days as a junior associate of the Rat Pack and Frank Sinatra to his much later collaboration with stars like Michael Jackson and a more recent turn as a TikTok star when he issued a challenge to younger fans to create new versions of his 1959 hit “Put Your Head On My Shoulder.”
“Don’t Matter to Me,” a song Anka collaborated on in 2018 with Jackson and Drake, reached the top ten on the Billboard charts and in 2020, he stupefied fans and judges with his appearance as the cruciferous character Broccoli on the TV reality show “The Masked Singer.”
