Three men from the United Arab Emirates were thrown out of a festival in Saudi Arabia because authorities thought they were so good-looking they might lead women astray.

The Emirati men were participating in a heritage event at a cultural festival in the capital Riyadh, the London-based Arabic-language newspaper Elaph reported on Tuesday.

In the strictly religious Islamic society of Saudi Arabia, any public amorous interaction between men and women is a big no-no, and religious police are tasked with making sure nothing untoward happens. Ever. Even a little bit.

According to the report, a festival official explained to the men that “commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.”

The three studs were sent back to their home country, where all men are given equal treatment — no matter how handsome they are.
