The military confirms Israeli Air Force fighter jets are carrying out strikes in Gaza on targets linked to Hamas

A statement from the Israel Defense Forces says the strikes targeted a weapons production facility belonging to the Gaza-ruling terror group and a rocket launcher.

“The strikes were carried out in response to the continued launching of incendiary balloons toward Israeli territory,” the statement says.

The military also says vows that it “will continue to respond firmly against continued terror attempts from the Gaza Strip.”
