Palestinian child seriously hurt in West Bank car crash, taken to Israeli hospital

Nine-year-old injured when car hits wall on Route 60; two others hurt in Haifa accident

A Palestinian child was seriously injured Saturday when the vehicle he was in hit a wall on Route 60 in the West Bank, south of Nablus.

Magen David Adom paramedics gave the nine-year-old preliminary care and took him to Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.

A second person, aged 20, was taken by the Red Crescent to a Palestinian hospital. He suffered mild injuries only.

Earlier Saturday a resident of Taybeh was seriously injured when his vehicle hit a fence near a train track in Haifa. The 25-year-old and a passenger who was with him in the car were taken to Rambam Medical Center for treatment.
