President Rivlin sends 70th anniversary greeting to Israel’s friends worldwide
In video, president thanks all those who stand up for Israel, expresses hope for its continued growth
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePresident Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday evening released a video message to Jewish communities and friends of Israel around the world on Israel’s 70th Independence Day.
Rivlin hailed the country’s achievements, and thanked all those who stand up for Israel.
In the video, and in a text he sent to The Times of Israel, Rivlin expressed particular gratitude “for all those who stand up for Israel every day.”
“As we face our challenges, and build upon the opportunities of today,” he said, “it is my wish that, together with you, Israel will continue to grow and develop for the benefit of all peoples, all over the world.”
