Health official: Palestinians reject blood donations from Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA senior Israeli health official tells Ynet that the Palestinian Authority rejected a offer by the Magen David Adom to transfer blood donations from Israel to the Gaza Strip. There was no explanation for the rejection given in the report.
The official adds that if the Palestinian Health Ministry requests humanitarian aid, Israel will provide it with food, medicine and medical equipment.
The World Health Organization and Palestinian Ministry of Health called for assistance in coping with a massive shortage of medicines, medical disposables and hospital fuel supplies last week.
