After a week of delays and race cancellations, the medal races in the windsurfing iQFoil race have been pushed off until at least tomorrow.

Israeli windsurfers Sharon Kantor and Tom Reuveny both qualified separately for the men’s and women’s semifinal and are considered strong medal contenders.

They were each slated to compete in their semifinals against three other competitors, vying for two spots in the final, which would guarantee them a medal. But once again Olympic officials decided that winds were too low to fairly carry out the race today, and the new plan is to hold them tomorrow — weather permitting.
