Netanyahu: Four fallen soldiers fought ‘courageously and with dedication’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says “Israel bows its head” for the soldiers killed in battle near Gaza City earlier today.
“My spouse and I, together with all the citizens of Israel, send our condolences to the bereaved families, share in their pain, and embrace them,” Netanyahu says in a statement. “Our soldiers operated courageously and with dedication to the defeat of Hamas and the return of all of our hostages. In the spirit of their heroism, we will not desist from those missions until we achieve them.”
The soldiers were named as Staff Sgt. Uri Lamed, 20, from Tel Mond, Sgt. Amit Arye Regev, 19, from Modiin, Sgt. Gadi Cotal, 20, from Kibbutz Afikim, and a fourth soldier whose name has yet to be released.
