Police bar manager of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound from entering site
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Jerusalem Police issue a six-month restraining order from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound area to the site’s manager, Najah Bacirat. The restraining order will come into effect on January 31, Ynet reports.
Avshalom Peled, deputy commander of the Jerusalem District of the Israel Police, writes in a letter that the order is “necessary in order to prevent serious harm to security.”
