US President Donald Trump declares that the US has sunk nine Iranian navy ships.
“We are going after the rest [of Iran’s navy ships] — They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea,” he declares on Truth Social.
“In a different attack, we largely destroyed their naval headquarters. Other than that, their navy is doing very well!” he declares.
Earlier Sunday, the US Army’s Central Command announced that three American soldiers had been killed and five were seriously wounded amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
They marked the first American casualties reported in the ongoing conflict.
CENTCOM did not provide further details on the circumstances that led to the deaths and injuries of the US servicemembers.
