A boycott of Israeli products passes a vote from members in Brooklyn’s Park Slope Food Coop.

The vote passes with 67% in favor, 31% against, and two percent abstaining.

A member of the food co-op says 4,780 voted in favor of the boycott and 1,796 opposed.

The food co-op is a major institution in the progressive neighborhood and the vote had become a charged and divisive campaign.
