Ex-top cop grilled in Ronel Fisher bribe case
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA former very senior police official was summoned to the Police Investigative Department in Jerusalem to be questioned on allegations related to the Ronel Fisher case. The case involves the law office of Ronel Fisher, a Tel Aviv attorney suspected of interfering with court work by bribing cops and by supplying his clients with material relating to their investigations to help them prepare for court appearances.
The former top officer’s name as well as the allegations are under a gag order. According to Ynet, the officer’s name was in the spotlight in the past in relation to other affairs but an indictment was never served against him in any of them.
