France’s Macron says Trump’s Jerusalem move ‘regrettable’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFrench President Emmanuel Macron brands Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital as “regrettable,” calling for efforts to “avoid violence at all costs.”
Addressing a press conference during a state visit to Algeria, Macron affirms “the attachment of France and Europe to the two-state solution, Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security within internationally recognized borders, with Jerusalem as the capital of the two states.”
