Haredi patrol chief Chaim Rotter, who is suspected of serial sexual assault, will remain in custody for another six days, the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court rules today.

Rotter, who heads the Shomrim private security patrol in Bnei Brak, was arrested at the start of July for allegedly abusing his authority to prey on young volunteers in the organization.

The court has extended his detention several times since his arrest as police continue to investigate the allegations. So far, 13 people have filed police complaints against Rotter, the Ynet news site reports.
