IDF says branches of Hezbollah-linked financial institution hit in Lebanon strikes

The IDF says it has completed a wave of airstrikes across Lebanon against branches of the Al-Qard al-Hasan association, known to be used by Hezbollah as a quasi-bank.
Ahead of the strikes, the IDF issued evacuation warnings to Lebanese civilians. The strikes came in response to Hezbollah launching several rockets at Israel overnight.
The military says Al-Qard al-Hasan is used by Hezbollah to store money, manage salaries for its operatives, transfer funds from Iran, and purchase weapons.
“Hezbollah’s attempts at economic rehabilitation and the activity at the branches of the Al-Qard al-Hasan association constitute a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel,” the IDF adds.
