IDF says the Israelis hurt in stabbing are soldiers who approached suspect near settlement
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF says the two Israelis lightly injured in a stabbing this morning are soldiers from a force that had questioned a suspect near the West Bank settlement of Ateret.
The military says the troops were dispatched following a report of a suspect in the area.
As they were inspecting the suspect, he stabbed troops, with soldiers shooting and killing him, the army says.
It adds that further details are being checked, and that more forces have been sent to the scene.
