The Prime Minister’s Office confirms that the Red Cross is set to hand over to Israel unspecified “findings” from the Gaza Strip.

The findings will be taken to the Abu Kabir forensic institute in Tel Aviv for examination, the PMO says, adding that officials are in continuous contact with the families of the two hostages whose bodies remain held in Gaza, police Master Sgt. Ran Gvili and Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak.

There have been several recent cases of “findings” thought to be related to hostages being handed over to Israel, and later confirmed not to belong to any captives.
