Police are asking the government and Finance Ministry to allocate budgetary funds to pay for the recruitment of another 4,000 officers, according to Hebrew media reports, following several deadly terror attacks in Israeli cities.

“The police force has had its fill of temporary solutions,” an unnamed senior office is quoted saying by several outlets.
