Syrian forces accused of ‘executions’ in Druze area; 12 said killed

Syrian authorities are accused of carrying out “field executions” of civilians in the predominantly Druze province of Sweida.

Damascus had deployed troops to the area after clashes between Druze fighters and Bedouin tribes killed more than 100 people.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that forces from the “defense and interior ministries carried out field executions of 12 civilians after storming the Radwan family guest house in the city of Sweida.”
