Two Palestinians were killed Sunday in a car crash in the northern West Bank involving an Israeli vehicle whose driver suffered moderate injuries.
Magen David Adom medics pronounced the deaths of the two Palestinians, in their 30s, and administered treatment to the Israeli, who was later taken to the Rabin Medical Center near the Israeli city of Petah Tikva.
The accident, which police described as a “head-on collision,” took place on Route 446 near the West Bank settlement of Beit Aryeh.
Police have opened an investigation into the cause of the accident.
On Thursday, a 10-month-old baby and her parents were killed, when a bus collided head-on with their car near the Dead Sea. The victims were later named as Kfir and Shira Avitan, both 28, from the northern city of Katzrin, and their daughter Gaia.
