Israeli forces operating in IDF-held territory in the southern Gaza Strip came under fire by terror operatives today.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

In what appears to be a response, Palestinian media reports several airstrikes in the Strip a short while ago.

One strike in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood killed three people and injured others, and another strike in the Mawasi area near Khan Younis caused several injuries, the reports say.

The IDF has not yet commented.
