Bird flu found in Kfar Vitkin turkey farm
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBird flu was discovered in a turkey farm in Kfar Vitkin, the Agriculture Ministry announces.
18,000 birds will be killed due to the outbreak, and farms in the area will be closely monitored by the ministry. The ministry says the most immediate factor that could disseminate the virus is the entry and exit of employees carrying the virus on their clothing from one farm to another.
