Greece said to offer Israeli businesspeople benefits if they move to country due to overhaul
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAmid widespread fears over the economic fallout of the government’s judicial overhaul, Greece has initiated contacts with Israeli tech entrepreneurs and offered a package of benefits if they move to the country, Channel 12 news reports.
The Greek leadership officials initiated the contacts and have held meetings to understand what is needed to persuade the businesspeople to move to Greece, the report says.
Among the reported options are tax and other benefits, and even forming entire neighborhoods or towns for the Israelis.
The report says Greek officials asked for comment didn’t deny the details.
