The IDF confirms carrying out a drone strike in southern Lebanon today, saying it killed a Hezbollah operative.
The target of the strike in the town of at-Tiri was involved in efforts to “reestablish Hezbollah’s readiness in the area,” the military says.
The IDF says the operative’s actions “constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
According to Lebanese media, a school bus passed by the area at the time of the strike, resulting in the injury of the driver and several students.
