Lebanese health ministry says one killed in alleged Israeli strike

The Lebanese health ministry says one person was killed in an alleged Israeli strike in southern Lebanon on Sunday night.

The Israeli military does not immediately comment on the strike, which the Lebanese health ministry says hit a car in the town of Mansouri, south of Tyre and just over 10 kilometers (six miles) from the Israeli border, and “resulted in the martyrdom of a citizen.”

A report from Lebanon’s National News Agency identifies the deceased as Mohammed Shoueikh and says he was a school principal in Mansouri.
