Netanyahu: Terror states, not individuals, cause global terror
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBenjamin Netanyahu says the best way to fight terrorism is to target the states behind it.
“International terrorism is not the result of the activities of individuals, but the work of terror states,” Netanyahu says at an event in Jerusalem to honor former US secretary of state George Shultz.
The prime minister says Shultz understood this, and that when the US understood this it made an impactful difference in combating terrorist threats. “That is what is required today.”
The prime minister also says Shultz set the tone for the success of Israel’s economy — and that this is a vision that Israel continues to follow to this day.
