Poll: Most Israelis believe families can take any form
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA new polls finds that 84% of Israeli Jews think every Israeli citizen should have “the right to found a family in Israel with whomever they want, in whatever manner they want, and according to their beliefs.”
The survey by Hiddush, the movement for religious freedom and equality in Israel, also finds that 71% of Israelis believe that “the Chief Rabbinate’s and rabbinical courts’ monopoly over marriage and divorce distances Jews from Judaism.”
