A man trapped in a burning vehicle after a road accident died of his wounds Sunday, after Magen David Adom teams and firefighters who arrived at the scene were unable to extricate him from the car in time.
The crash took place at the Shoket Junction in the southern Hebron hills.
Four other people were injured in the accident — one who was in critical condition, one in moderate condition, and the other with light injuries.
All of the passengers were transported to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
Police launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
