Bennett departs UAE after snap visit that included 2-hour meeting with president
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Naftali Bennett ends his snap visit to the United Arab Emirates and returns to Israel after meeting the country’s new ruler Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan (MBZ) and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed.
According to Bennett’s office, he sat down with MBZ for two hours in the latter’s palace to discuss “a range of economic and regional issues,” in all likelihood referring to the stalled Iran nuclear talks in Vienna, Iran’s proxy forces, the Abraham Accords, and fallout from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
