Canada says it strongly condemns Israel’s bombing of Lebanon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleCanada “strongly” condemns Israel’s bombing campaign against targets in Lebanon, Foreign Minister Anita Anand says in a statement.
Anand also condemns what she called Hezbollah’s indiscriminate attacks against Israel.
“We thus call on Israel to respect Lebanon’s territorial integrity and for Hezbollah to immediately disarm and implement decisions issued by the Government of Lebanon,” the statement reads. “Furthermore, we call on Israel and Hezbollah to implement and adhere to a permanent ceasefire.”
