Israel accepts planes, firetrucks from Egypt, Jordan
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEgypt and Jordan will send aid to Israel to help the country fight the rash of wildfires, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says.
Egypt will send two planes and Jordan will send firetrucks, after Israel accepted offers of help from the two neighbors.
The nearly unprecedented development follows help offered by the Palestinian Authority and accepted by Israel Thursday.
Netanyahu is currently touring thee village of Beit Meir, where several homes were severely damaged by fire overnight.

Evacuated residents there are being told to stay away from their homes.
