Military Police probing graft claims in unit building border fence
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Military Police are investigating suspected corruption in the government body responsible for the construction of the fence around Israel’s boundaries, Haaretz says.
The suspicions reportedly center on irregularities in the allocation of tenders.
The Military Police have for the best part of a year been investigating suspicions that external companies with personal ties to officers in the unit have been awarded contracts.
The completed investigation is now in hands of the military prosecutor’s office, Haaretz says.
