Videos show the moment US President Donald Trump was evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after a man armed with guns and knives stormed the lobby outside the event, rushing toward the ballroom before Secret Service agents swarmed him and took him into custody.
The US president was uninjured and was hustled away.
A law enforcement officer was shot, but his bullet-resistant vest stopped the projectile.
Service agents evacuated President Trump from his table at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. Cabinet secretaries also left the ballroom, according to witnesses.
