Shahar Peer loses in second round of French Open

Israeli star falls to Ana Ivanovich, 6:2, 6:2

Shahar Peer lost to Ana Ivanovich in second round tournament of the French Open on Wednesday, losing the match by two sets, 6:2 and 6:2.

Peer went into the match ranked 55th in the world and faced the 13th-ranked Ivanovich.

Peer defeated Canadian Stephanie Dubois, ranked 98th, 6:2, 6:2, in the first round of the tournament.
