A 14-year-old girl was murdered in the Bedouin village of Tuba-Zangariyye in the Galilee Thursday night, Israel Radio reported.

The girl was reportedly sitting with her family outside their home when a masked gunman opened fire at the house, hitting her. The gunman then fled the scene.

A few hours later, police arrested two young men from the village, aged 18 and 20, on suspicion of involvement in the crime. Police were checking whether a family feud had led to the fatal shooting.

Also Thursday overnight, a man was shot and seriously injured in Haifa while sitting in his car at a gas station. Two motorcycles were seen fleeing the scene. Medical teams evacuated the man, in his 30s, to the hospital, and police were investigating.
