A 76-year-old woman from Nahariya was killed Sunday in northern Israel when a rock fell off a moving truck and hit her car, crushing her.
The incident happened on Route 85 between Kfar Rama and Carmiel. The woman’s daughter, who was driving the car, was moderately hurt.
The driver of the truck kept driving and police set up roadblocks to find him. Police assess that the driver may not have noticed the missing rock.
