A teenage girl who was critically injured in a traffic accident died on Tuesday, the day after her father and 6-year-old brother were killed in the same crash in northern Israel.
She was identified as Ella Mukhtar. Her mother and two other siblings remain hospitalized in an intensive care unit.
“A short time ago the 13-year-old girl in the children’s intensive care unit who was critically injured in a traffic accident yesterday on Route 70 died,” the Galilee Medical Center said in a statement.
Mukhtar’s mother, Sarah, and brother, Yonatan, 16, remain in moderate condition. Her sister, Aviyah, 14, has moderate to serious injuries, the statement said.
On Monday the car the family was traveling in collided with a truck on Route 70 in the Western Galilee near the city of Nahariya.

Mukhtar’s father, Alon, 47, and brother Yoel, 6, were killed in the crash. Another sister, Naomi, was traveling in a separate vehicle and was not injured.
Funerals for Alon and Yoel were expected to be held on Tuesday in the Kfar Adumim community where the family lives.
The Magen David Adom emergency service said at the time that the driver of the truck was in moderate condition.
