After pressure, Netanyahu to meet this evening with families of hostages

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office says he will meet this evening with the families of those taken captive in the Hamas-led assault on October 7, after they demanded the premier and other Israeli leaders hold face-to-face talks as the military ramps up operations in Gaza.
The announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office of the upcoming meeting comes after Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said earlier that he will meet tomorrow with representatives of the families.
