Dark horse Kahlon won’t say who he wants for PM
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleKulanu leader Moshe Kahlon refuses to meet either Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or Labor leader Isaac Herzog, Israel Radio reports.
The former Likud minister, who rose to fame on a reform of the cellular communication providers’ market, received requests from both the prime minister and the head of the Zionist Union list to meet and reveal who he will recommend to the president for the role of prime minister.
Kahlon’s party is currently polling at between 8 and 10 Knesset seats and may become kingmaker when the president calls on the party to endorse Netanyahu or Herzog for the role of prime minister.
