Egyptian president Sissi said personally involved in Gaza truce talks

A senior Israeli official tells the Kan public broadcaster that Egypt “is doing everything it can to stabilize the situation.”

The official adds that President Abdel-Fatah el-Sissi and intelligence chief Abbas Kamel are personally involved, and that Israel has told them “quiet will be met with quiet.”
