Envoy asks UN to condemn Hezbollah
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael’s ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor tells the UN Security Council that the international community “cannot continue to ignore” the threat posed by Hezbollah.
Prosor says Israel will not be able to remain quiet while Hezbollah harms Israelis and will use all necessary measures to protect its citizens.
The UN envoy further demands that the international community condemn Hezbollah, insist that it disarm, and see that the Lebanese government withstand its obligations to the international community.
He also sends his condolences to the Spanish government for the loss of a Spanish UNIFIL soldier who was killed in the crossfire.
