Eritrean gets 23 years in jail for raping 83-year-old woman
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Eritrean migrant who was convicted of raping an 83-year-old woman in the yard of her home will go to jail for 23 years, Ynet reports.
Rouvel Fadoul confessed to rape and sodomy and apart from imprisonment will need to compensate the woman to the tune of NIS 100,000 ($26,000).
“The defendant’s actions are severe and particularly revolting and they cause a traumatic damage to an old lady who one morning saw her whole life collapse in front of her,” Judge Gilad Noy wrote in Fadoul’s verdict.
