Gallant says military collaboration with US is ‘critical,’ as Israel braces for Iranian attack

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant tours the Israeli Air Force’s Tel Hanof base as Israel braces for a potential attack by Iran and its proxies.
“Every day you’re improving your readiness on defense and sharpening your offensive capabilities,” Gallant tells the air force personnel, according to a statement from his office.
Gallant says he’s been working in recent days on “coordination” against an Iranian attack, noting his meeting with CENTCOM chief Michael Erik Kurilla and frequent calls with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.
“They have a lot of desire to help. This collaboration is a critical component,” he says.
