Defense Minister Benny Gantz is scheduled to take off today from Israel for an official visit to a foreign country, his office says.
The name of the country is barred from publication until his return, the ministry says.
His office says the trip will be focused on security issues.
Gantz is expected to land back in Israel on Thursday afternoon.
