Ghajar residents tell of mortar strike on town
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleResidents of the Golan Heights Alawite town of Ghajar on the Israel-Lebanon border tell Ynet that a Hezbollah mortar shell scored a direct hit on a house in the town.
“At the beginning they fired a few mortar shells,” says a resident. “After that a house was hit directly. The whole house went up in flames. But thank God we can say that there were no people in the home, it was a miracle that no one was hurt.”
Another resident says that students in the town spent two and a half hours in shelters.
They also say no one was allowed in or out of the town for several hours.
