IDF says it killed former senior Hamas official who was in charge of Gilad Shalit prisoner file

The IDF confirms reports that it killed former senior Hamas official Osama Mazini in an airstrike earlier this evening.
Mazini was the head of Hamas’s Shura Council and a Hamas education minister who was also tasked with handling the file of Gilad Shalit, an IDF soldier held captive by Hamas in Gaza for five years.
