A wave of Israeli airstrikes in Tehran overnight destroyed Iranian missile storage and launch sites, the military says.

According to the IDF, one underground site was used by Iran to store ballistic missiles. Several other air defense missile storage sites were also struck, along with ballistic missile launchers, the military says.

During the sortie, an Israeli Air Force fighter jet identified several Iranian soldiers operating an air defense system, the IDF says.

“The fighter jet struck the launcher and the soldiers, thwarting the launches toward Israeli Air Force aircraft,” the military says.
