Israeli Deni Avdija’s Team World eliminated, won’t compete in All-Star Championship
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli basketballer Deni Avdija will not play in the NBA All-Star Championship after his side, Team World, is beaten in Game 3.
In the first game, Team World lost to Team Stars 37-35. Within three minutes of the game, Avdija scored a three-pointer.
Avdija also made an assist to Victor Wembanyama, and also scored two points with a dunk
Team Stripes beat Team Stars 42-40 in Game 2.
Coming back for Game 3, Avdija took a rebound and then gave an assist to Jamal Murray.
Despite Avdija’s efforts, Team World lost to the Stripes 48-45, ending their championship hopes.
Team Stripes and Team Stars will compete against each other in the championship.
