Report: Transportation Ministry to operate maritime shuttles to bring stranded Israelis home
Transportation Minister Miri Regev has ordered her ministry to operate maritime shuttles from Cyprus to help Israelis stranded abroad return home, amid a series of flight cancelations due to an anticipated Iranian attack, Channel 12 news reports.
This is in addition to the planned use of Hercules military transports to bring Israelis home.
“Israelis who are abroad and are interested in the service are asked to contact the Israeli embassy in the country they are staying, or call the Foreign Ministry hotline. There they will receive the necessary information for registration, departure times, and the port of departure,” the Transportation Ministry says in a statement to the network.
