Several local authorities in northern Israel close to the Lebanon border, including the city of Nahariya, have told citizens to remain close to bomb shelters.

No such directive has been issued by the IDF Home Front Command. Amid the war, local authorities regularly issue their own recommendations to civilians.

Nahariya is located around 10 kilometers from the Lebanon border.
